I managed to adapt the UI for my game except for one thing. I can't seem to follow the same process to create an interface for the Equipment tab. Any advice?
Difficult to give advice without knowing your exact setup; all I can recommend is probably to double check if you set everything up like in the Template Game.
You are welcome to post any questions in my main Discord (I copied over the contact info from my main game page into the page description), but I ignore most DMs because of large amounts of spam.
I have edited the description to include the case of teams.
* At least the team lead must own the license * In addition anyone directly working on the assets (e.g. tweaking them) or with the assets (e.g. making new custom menus with them) must own the license. Any other team members don't need a license.
Based dev. Releasing plugins for everyone for free to use - mega based. I'm not planning to use RPGMaker ever, but if I were I would be downloading right now

In any case, it's great!
For Equipment we don't have a reskin. It requires JS knowledge but you can probably assemble one using the existing assets.
What made you decide to share this with the community?

I'm not a 100% sure what you mean with menu icon, but I think it's TLB_SKAUIBase -> Portrait Settings.

If you want to reduce dependencies, e.g. removing the backlog feature, you would need to edit the main Message Box Plugin. Hope it work!
