Star Knightess Aura version 0.13.0


Let's have a look at what happened this month! To those who have followed the devblogs, most stuff here is already known. To put it into numbers, we have 1 new dungeon, 5 new skills, 1 new lewd scene, 1 new mental room, 2 H-CGs and 1 new corruption scene.

Also in addition to these there had been some reworking on the background logic for increasing Aura's lewdness and vice. So don't be surprised if you see a +1 Corruption where you would have earlier seen a +1 Lewdness. This is due to the new rule for lewdness increases that lewdness only increases as long as the current lewdness is smaller than the minimum lewdness + 10. The same applies to Vice. You can also do a couple more things after you remove the Selflessness orb now, such as stealing some ropes and apples here and there.

After the technical stuff, I went on to finally add a new dungeon area to the game. I think it's been since May when I last added a regular large sized dungeon. You can find the new Eastern Forest Of Runes 1 dungeon by heading to the eastern exit of the central forest of runes.

New boss fights, including an early accessible superboss, await Aura in there. The area doesn't tie into any existing quests at this stage and mostly serves as an optional way to power up. The currently only intermediate lake area will later have some plot siginificance, so reaching the end of the eastern forest will also ultimately be part of the plot progress.

In the forest you can also charge the Patentia Rune that can be acquired in the Northern Mines from defeating the local demon. It unlocks a teleport into the Abandoned Shrine.

The second new area is the first iteration of the city Nephlune.


Meet a certain someone who got freed from prison there and who will hopefully in 0.14.0 introduce Aura to a bar job in the underground demon worshipper city waiting beneath Nephlune. This update I mostly focused on adding the functional NPCs. Find a material merchant selling basic materials such as Ether / Pyromantium / Emerald Leaf, albeit with a very slow restock rate. There is also a new bookstore selling skillbooks. Some for old skills, some for new skills, and some for upgrades of old skills. There are also some more useful books that can be found in there. Finally, the third functional NPC is in the local spellshop, granting access to three new learnable spells.

Now if only we also had a main dungeon to use them on or a job and side quests to earn them... Oh well. One update at a time.

Moving on, on the corruption path, the Knowledge Room has been unlocked.

You will be able to remove academic knowledge and more of Aura's precious novel knowledge! As Aura obtains new passive knowledge, Alicia can then replace the old spots with this newly acquired knowledge. For now you can only remove the first level of the science knowledge though.

Speaking of knowledge, the new corruption scene focuses on furthering Aura's academic downfall by not being able to pay attention in class. This time due to being distracted by social media.

Finally, as most of you have probably already seen, we have H-CGs for the Bonding With Slime I and the Listening On Liliana lewd events. With this, only John's first scene remains and the old batch of lewd events will be fully illustrated!

On the business side, we have finally been approved to steam - please make sure to wishlist the game so the steam algorithm ranks the game decently! The steam version will be text only. A patch will be either provided through a free DLC, if possible, or an external patch.

There were a bunch of other changes, such as an update to the world map, some quality of life improvements such as being able to use Charlotte or Fire Slime to burn bushes, a bunch of bugfixes, and so on. How do I get to Nephlune? I read these updates and there's so much content I haven't experienced but I can't understand how to access. I'm stuck at the Festival of Greed but there's so much stuff I haven't seen yet!

After you clear the festival you unlock Nephlune. It's only in the starting stage though.
