Fortress of Wrath finally comes to a close. This month mostly focuses on clearing this quest. But, besides that we also have some other content. So let's first do the usual and look at the numbers. We have 1 new H-CG, 3 new corruption scenes, 1 new lewd scene, 1 new quest, 3 new books, and finally the last 4 levels for Darknor Fortress including 3 new bosses. For the details, I recommend checking out the prerelease devlog posts. 

For the new side quest, we can go adventuring with John and assisst him in acquiring new skills and powerups. During this process, Aura can also get again in a lewd situation and this is also where the new lewd scene can be triggered.

On the main story side, we have finally reached the conclusion of the Fortress of Wrath quest line. The final confrontation event against Sathanas took quite some time out of this week and I bet with you that there are a bunch fo bugs hidden here. Don't get me started on the balance. Mostly because there are quite a few different factors that affect the battles in this scene. Depending on the ingame day you reach him and depending on whether you took out his demon subordinates, the battle changes quite a bit. I hope that this also enables various different strategies ranging from taking all the demons out before starting the main boss encouner, over just rushing through everthing, and the various degrees in between. I'm curious to see what the players will come up with.

The Draknor Fortress Libary Floor has the above-mentioned 3 newly added books in store. And at the end of the Fortress of Wrath quest line you can obtain a powerful new Rune. This month we also saw the addition of the Deluxe build with the inbuilt cheating console and Costume setter. 

Darkness In The Woods has been turned into a Novice Adventurer Quest once again. I liked the idea of all demon related quests being Intermediate Adventurer Quests, but for this quest I believe the dialogue does also fit a Novice ranked quest aimed specifically at Aura. And more importantly, doing some playing testing I believe we needed this one to stay an Novice Ranked quests to offer some more choice of action directly after the Festival.

For the QoL part, also note that there are now hotkeys for opening sub menus (check the changelog for the default settings). These are not currently remappable but will be in the new UI.  

The new UI was also one big thing I spent too much time on this week as I have to admit. I originally planned to finish the Draknor Fortress content a little bit earlier and then try to put some more corruption scenes in. But I got a bit too enthusiastic about finally seeing this thing after we started the planning for it 10 months ago to come to fruition. It's not in the current build, I will also give a short update screenshot on the implementation, as the first round of UI overhauls will be delivered in the next week's prerelease. For those who have seen the mockups I posted over the months, there is probably not too much to see here yet.

Alright, then let's take a look at the real world side. Here, not much has happened this month. You can clear out another shelf in the mental world, although I didn't get to implementing the orb that will be inserted there, so that will be on next month's item list. Likewise I only wrote the corruption scenes that get triggered from each of the book removals, so sadly no continuation on Tests Are Out or Homework Project With Laura yet. 

Aaand that concludes this month's release build! Let's try to hit the 50% mark by the end of October! Currently it's looking semi-good, I might be 1 week off because I didn't quite hit the target for corruption scenes this month, and there is also this new project at my day time job that got dropped into my lap where I have to perform a last minute save before the year is over. Let's hope this won't interfere too much.
