We close out the remaining content on Judgement of Pride and Roland this week. Besides the integration of the second part of the Veronica and George 8 scene, that pretty much occupied most of the week.

I was shortly thinking of just failing / turning off the Roland Quests Rampaging Golem / Poisoned Elixirs / Nothing but the Truth / Luck Debate upon killing Roland and although that would simplify matters a lot, I didn't like them being missable like that.

So this week I went on the voyage to update all those quests so that they not only work with Roland already dead, but also with him dying in the middle. I tested many cases but I honestly cannot promise that every constellation works, there are just a lot of potential game states x_X. So I'm pretty sure some you will be able to find the broken cases. The 99% probably won't even run into the updated quests because it's very likely they become available way before you have the chance to kill Roland.

The main take-away here is that there are no longer any blockers from engaging in the Judgement of Pride boss fight as all updates to maintain a correct game state resulting from Roland's death should theortically (hopefully) (maybe) (perhaps) be handled.

So yeah, that was the big item this week. Aside from that, just a little bit of polish work I got into today. Also, when you reach the Corruption Ending you will no longer see the placeholder scrolling text; today I implemented that instead of some hard-coded text, it pulls the information from the CREDITS.json, so we now the rolling credits with the proper names at the end.

I was hoping to get a bit more done but I have been hindered quite a bit through internet issues I have been experiencing since last Saturday... My internet provider knows since Monday but................ their tickeing system has been down so their entire response has been terribly slow. I hope the situation improves on Monday.... Luckily working with RPGMaker is largely offline so it's not blocking the main workflow but whenever I go into my ticketing system on GitLab, it becomes a loading hell.

How in the world do you think the game is better losing twice as much HP to harvesting? Especially at the beginning of the game?

God this game only ever gets worse.
