This week we close out the area of lewd skills / lewd books! Two new lewd skills with three ranks each have been added this week, with corresponding new minor book learning scenes to read.

These new skills are

  • Seductive Dance: AROUSES allies and enemies. If they were already AROUSED; enemies get DEFENSES BROKEN, while allies get ATK buff - lewd cheerleading in Roya!
  • Seductive Command: CHARM an aroused enemy (and on higher ranks also give him an ATK buff) - briefly take control over enemies!

The reason I decided to go these ways for the lewd skills was mainly for Seductive Dance that I felt that players who missed out on Acid Bomb were missing on a corrupt option to balance out finding the formula. This way of inflicting defenses broken is more restricted, working only on human males, but still providing hopefully enough scenarios where it can act as a suitable replacement.

Seductive Dance can be learned at the Maid Academy, providing you also with a new way to gain more Maid Score (up to +15). Furthermore, being a Maid Academy skill, Paulina can also learn it. Sadly the application won't work retroactively as Paulina's game states can be a bit complicated.

As a minor balancing change: Seductive Stance III now affects also allies, meaning John/Desmond/Paul will get AROUSED on battle start. This change was mostly done to improve the interactions with Seductive Dance.

For Seductive Command, you basically have a new tool to mitigate damage as CHARMED characters will attack allies (including themselves) over the party. The skill requires you to read a Lewd Knowledge 10 book from the Verdeaux Erotic Bookstore so it's not super early available, but soon enough to hurt enemies such as Roland, Lysander or powerful duelists like Francis and Olaf (it's a Martial!)

To prevent Seductive Command from breaking boss encounters and since the CHARM state in the Asmodeus battle seemed quite strong, CHARM has however received a minor nerf: If a character loses CHARM it will now receive the new HEARTBREAK state which renders the character immune to CHARM until end of battle. In other words: Each character can only be charmed once per battle from now on.

Moving on to the mental world for the last time in 1.0, I also implemented the "Lewd Skill Shrine" in the Chapter 3 Control Room, the last outstanding object lacking interaction. Here, Alicia can "offer up" some of her own lewd knowledge to implant lewd skills directly into Aura's mind. For the available skills I went with Seductive Stance I/II since that one plays a heavy role in many interactions and the new Seductive Dance as I figured that fit the cheerleading theme.

FInally - and back in Roya - the Entertainment Den is now complete with the last NPC being added to the slavery area. I decided to go with a simple "level up" version from the Nephlune Slave Investment. This time around, you can invest in Soul-Contracts for the slaves with the Entertainment Mage. Doing so costs 5k Gold, but gives 8k after 10 days, but requires Vice 15 to unlock. So it's significantly more time and corruption efficient, but also pushes up your Vice.

And then today I have progressed a bit more on my project to liven up the world of Roya and added some more NPCs to Verdeaux. Most of them react to your progress on the Roland quests and one of them requires you to have performed at least one slavery investment in the Nephlune Congregation. The complex routine NPCs always take quite some time especially since I have to fight RPGMaker quite a bit and deal with a bunch of edge cases so the routines don't break (of course always discovering new ways along the way x_X). Anyways, still a couple more I'd like to be in Verdeaux, but the city is finally starting to have some more life!

Oh, right and we are also trying out a balancing change on Thunderbolt II/III and Overcharge I/II which have now reduced learning requirements.
