New patch. Most notable one is a more comprehensive fix to various lag issues that may have been happening since we added a plugin to deal with
this innocently looking bug for the hair clipping into the upper part of the chair (which in RPGMaker is marked to be above character so when Aura runs behind the chair, she's behind it. But so are the top pixels of the hair) Another bug in this area caused the bug to kind of go crazy on some devices. I fixed the other bug last week but mysteriously, some degree of frame drops still remained for some other users and it turned out to be the plugin we included to fix the above issue. A plugin from 2015 that's distributed by official RPGMaker channels in the dlc folder of its steam version. There is a non-zero chance that this bug our assistant developer Trihan fixed this week is the origin of many other laggs in other RPGMaker games also using this officially distributed plugin to fix the little graphical glitch.
FUN.
Also notable is Fast Item Stance being so incompatible with the base engine implementation of items, there are still very notable bugs in it. Like reading books twice if you have it on. :'''''D
Finally, slime is getting hit yet again with a small tweak, this time to its stat line. It lost a bit of starting HP and its curves have been generally lowered. When will slimie finally not break the game?! :D

I've bought this on itch and I can't ever get the current version. Like right now, the post 4 days ago says I can get 0.40.2 (08/03/2024) by buying on itch. Well, I have it on itch and I can only get the February version 0.39.3 (19/02/2024).
What am I doing wrong?
I'm afraid I can only recommend to ask the itch support since all the payment logic is handled by them.
So, I support didn't really figure out the issue right away but I think I know what it is. I have two copies, one I "donated" $7 in the past and a purchase of $18 so now when I install, it just goes with the $7 version that doesn't get the latest update. I've asked support if they can fix this, if not I'll have to move my saves around and update manually because updating versions this way will delete my saves. Telling you just so you know this is a possibility.
